CASE CLOSED!

Last week I was contacted to choose a new computer or get the value of the computer.

Yesterday (10 February) I had in my bank account a deposit made by Sony with the value of the computer!

Again, the Sony Vaio Europe support is kidding with me!
In last Thursday (January 28) the official said that today (Monday 1 February) would contact me to make a resolution to this case, but as at other times they promised that a call was only a promise!

It is not the first time that they promise a telephone call that doesn't happen!

Yesterday, after lunch, again contacted the Sony Vaio support to try to get information. They told me that still had no information to give me, were still examining the laptop and that tomorrow (today), responsible for the repair was going to call me.

Also during the day yesterday, late afternoon, they called me to ask if the computer had arrived and all was well? They are kidding with me!!!

Today, calls me the supervisor of the case to say the same as me saying who pick up the phone when I call! That will contact the repair center and when they have news contact me. I'll be waiting endlessly? If I bought the computer it was because I need it.

When needed to purchase new computers, I did not hesitate and chose the Sony Vaio brand.
Purchasing Sony equipment is a habit that comes from afar. Everything in my house (radio, LCDs, televisions, movie cameras, shooting machines, GPS and computers) is the Sony brand.

When making decisions, it was decided to buy the Sony brand.
And so I did, on 27/06/2009, at the same store I bought two computers brand by Sony Vaio, one for me and another for my father.


Everything was going well until, on my computer came a failure, the cooling fan started making noise and the hard disc is damaged.

By telephone was contacted Sony Vaio support, who ordered the DHL on 10/11/2009, to pick up of the computer in my residence.

On 18/11/2009, eight days after, the computer was delivered by DHL, in my residence, supposedly repaired.
After unpacking and placed on top of the desk, immediately became apparent that the computer was not supported well, causing it to work, he swing, making it unstable.
It took several phone calls to the Sony Vaio support, understand that the computer had come with a problem that did not have before.


On 20/11/2009, two days later, the computer, at the behest of the Sony Vaio support was again collected by DHL in my residence.

On 25/11/2009, after five days, the computer, again, was delivered by DHL, in my residence, supposedly repaired.

Once placed on the desk it was found that the anomaly remained, had not been repaired.


Again, it was contacted Sony Vaio support that sent to collect by DHL, on 02/12/2009, has now gone 50 days, almost two months.

Assiduously, I call the support they has always given evasive answers, the most common being "the computer was sent to the departments for testing, next week the issue is resolved.

However this waiting period and despair because the computer is needed, I sent two emails to Sony and that went unanswered today. So, as I'm waiting, too, the telephone calls that was promised by Sony but never happen. For them the priorities are certainly different from mine.

Even today, when writing these lines I do not know when I return the computer and under what conditions or what the outcome of the case.

If you look to the time when this saga began, I am deprived of the computer for more than two months, too long for a simple repair. It is not acceptable, it is absurd that a company like Sony Vaio without giving any explanation, hold a computer in those circumstances, it is doing lack and for this reason alone it was purchased.

Who is responsible for the disorders that the situation is causing, as it is delaying my academic life with work and a master's thesis to present?

In future, in my house, Sony anymore, because I see that the after-sales service does not work.
